Mianshanzi 面扇子
Mianshanzi is a kind of wheat flour food made in a fan shape. The custom of eating mianshanzi on the Dragon Boat Festival mainly prevails in Minqin county in Northwest China's Gansu province. This fan-shaped food is made up of five multi-colored layers, with each layer covered with fried sprinkles of pepper powder. The layers are pinched into a variety of patterns to make it appealing to eyes. This dietary custom is said to be trace back to the tradition of making and selling fans during Duanwu Festival in ancient times.
面扇子是用小麥粉做成的扇形面食。甘肅省民勤縣一帶,端午節(jié)這天都蒸面扇子。面扇子用發(fā)面蒸制,呈扇形,有5層。每層撒上碾細(xì)的熟胡椒粉,表面捏成各種花紋,染上顏色,十分好看。這種食俗據(jù)說(shuō)是由端午節(jié)制扇、賣(mài)扇、贈(zèng)扇的風(fēng)俗演變而來(lái)的。
