F: I love street food – so that's a no-brainer for my itinerary. But is it a long walk?

我很喜歡街邊小吃,所以小吃街我是必去的。不過那條路需要走很遠(yuǎn)嗎?

M: Not really, and most people enjoy a leisurely pace. We stopped for lamb soup, which is very famous there. It's made with a crumbled loaf of bread as well as noodles and mutton.

F: Bread in the soup?

M: It sounds weird, I know. But it's very good. Spicy, too! It's also fun to watch the cooks making soup over a big fire. Plus, there are lots of dried fruits and interesting pastries and breads. They also make sesame candy by pounding the seeds into paste with big hammers.

我知道,聽起來是挺怪的,但味道非常好,也很辣!看廚師在猛火上煮湯也很有趣。此外,那兒還有很多干果、有趣的甜點(diǎn)和面點(diǎn)。人們還用大錘子將芝麻壓進(jìn)面糊里做芝麻糖。

F: That sounds fun to watch.

M: It is! But it's quite noisy, too. So those candy makers are easy to find.
