Paris Hilton poses at Life Rolls On Foundation's 4th Night By the Ocean auction

Socialite Paris Hilton's promise to do more charity work following her release from jail is being carried out - the socialite has started work helping to raise funds for children with spinal cord injuries.
She was at Life Rolls On Foundation's 4th Night By the Ocean auction on Sunday in aid of her close friend Jesse Billauer - a former professional surfer who founded the charity after he was paralysed.
The Simple Life star paid $17,500 for a surfing lesson with Billauer.
She said later, "It's a great organisation. It gives people hope and I'm really happy to be here to support Jesse."
And Hilton's charitable nature doesn't stop there, adding, "I was just at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital visiting all of the kids andpremature babiesin the cancer ward.
"I met with philanthropists and they're doing a summit with five major charities and we'll be doing stuff all over the world. I'm excited."
Hilton was released from Lynwood, California's Century Regional Detention Center last month after being jailed for violating her probation from a drink driving arrest.

曾出演《簡(jiǎn)單生活》的希爾頓出資1萬(wàn)7千5百美元，買下比勞爾的沖浪課。
之后，她表示：“這是一個(gè)偉大的組織。它給人們帶來希望，我很開心能到這來為杰西助陣。”
希爾頓的“仁愛之舉”還不止這些。她說：“我還去洛杉磯兒童醫(yī)院看望了那里所有患癌癥的兒童和早產(chǎn)兒。”
“我與一些慈善家進(jìn)行了會(huì)面。他們正在與五大慈善機(jī)構(gòu)舉行會(huì)談。我們將在全世界開展慈善活動(dòng)。這讓我很激動(dòng)。”
希爾頓于上月從加州林烏德世紀(jì)拘留所中釋放，此前她因酒后駕車案后違反保釋期規(guī)定入獄。
