Pink tourism, also known as gay tourism or LGBT tourism, is a form of niche tourism marketed to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
粉色旅游,也叫同性戀旅游或LGBT旅游,是針對同性戀、雙性戀以及變性人群(統稱“同志”)開拓的小眾旅游市場。
The main components of pink tourism are cities and countries wishing to attract LGBT tourists; people looking to travel to LGBT-friendly destinations; people wanting to travel with other LGBT people when traveling regardless of the destination and LGBT travelers who are mainly concerned with cultural and safety issues.
粉色旅游業的主要組成部分為:希望吸引同志游客的城市和國家、希望到對同志人群友好的目的地旅游的游客、不計較目的地只希望與其他同志人群一同出游的人,以及關注文化和安全因素的同志游客。
Major companies in the travel industry have become aware of the substantial money (also known as the "pink dollar" or "pink pound") generated by this marketing niche, and have made it a point to align themselves with the gay community and gay tourism campaigns. This market segment is expected to continue to grow as a result ongoing acceptance of LGBT people and changing attitudes towards sexual and gender minorities.
