5月21日下午，全國政協(xié)十三屆三次會議第一場“委員通道”采訪活動在人民大會堂新聞發(fā)布廳舉行，邀請部分全國政協(xié)委員通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)視頻方式接受媒體采訪。全國政協(xié)常委、中國工程院副院長、中國醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)院院長王辰介紹，前線的醫(yī)護(hù)人員能夠非常真切地體會到文化的力量、體制的力量和國力的力量，為這次能夠取得抗疫的重大勝利奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)，是這次抗疫能夠取得勝利的重要原因。

"China must take concrete actions to establish a national system on medical science and technology innovation, including building a national-level medical research institute that can lead the medical research of the entire country," he added.

“在醫(yī)學(xué)的研究上，我國一定要從構(gòu)建國家醫(yī)學(xué)科技創(chuàng)新體系上有個更深刻的考慮，要有非常重大的現(xiàn)實(shí)行動。應(yīng)當(dāng)是構(gòu)建一個國家級的、能夠引領(lǐng)統(tǒng)籌整個國家醫(yī)學(xué)研究大格局的國家級醫(yī)學(xué)研究機(jī)構(gòu)?！?/p>
